The Centre provides several academic services to individuals and the public. These include the Ante-Nicene Archive, one of the largest private libraries on early church history and literature in the world. From this resource classes are conducted, and content is published from its holdings. The current curator is Brent S. Walters, who preserves and makes this unique collection available.

Literature

Literature
The Centre focuses on early church literature, and this encompasses several fields of research. Foremost is patristics, the study of Christian writings from the Ante-Nicene era (roughly until 325 CE). The library also provides access to texts, versions, translations, and commentaries on the New Testament. Analysis of biblical manuscripts is also offered, as are book reviews on such topics.

Resources

Resources
The Centre makes its resources available to the public for research, and it partners with religious and academic institutions as well as the media. Four forms of distribution are ongoing: 1) podcasts with accompanying transcripts, 2) a college that offers classes for the public, 3) seminars conducted on a single evening, and 4) a product line and bookstore that provides unique materials.

History

History
The Centre specializes in the history of Christianity during the Ante-Nicene era and Judaism of the Second Temple period. In essence, it provides books, articles, documents, and translations related to the first three centuries, and its holdings on archaeology update this information and its database of biographies defines the role of scholars, academicians, and experts in these disciplines.
